॥ Samādhāna ॥
Theoretical and practical workshop on Meditation
This course is an invitation to understand meditation not only as a technique, but as a path of clarity, discernment, and inner stability, based on the wisdom of yoga and Vedanta.
An invitation for yoga teachers and people interested in learning meditation based on the classical texts of Yoga and Vedanta.
Samādhāna refers to the mind's ability to remain clearly and steadily focused on its chosen purpose. It involves an inner disposition of order, discernment, and emotional openness to experience, allowing one to respond to life with greater objectivity and equanimity.
To cultivate this quality, the course is structured into two complementary learning areas, integrating understanding and practice, creating a solid foundation for the development of a more stable, clear, and conscious mind.
Teaching
Throughout the course, we will explore the foundational principles of meditation from the classical yogic tradition. We will draw upon fundamental Sanskrit texts, transmitted within an authentic teaching tradition, to understand the profound meaning of meditation beyond mere technique.
This exhibition will allow us to recognize meditation as a process of knowledge, clarity and discernment, rooted in the vision of yoga and Vedanta, and not just as a practice of concentration or relaxation.
The practice
Meditative practice will be approached through observation and contemplation techniques that allow you to train your attention, quiet your mind, and develop a conscious presence. These practices do not seek to force states, but rather to cultivate a clear and stable perspective on experience, fostering a more lucid and compassionate relationship with your thoughts, emotions, and body.
Practice and teaching are found in direct experience. It's not just about understanding, but about inhabiting what has been learned: observing, feeling, and remaining. Each encounter opens a space where knowledge becomes lived experience, and lived experience, profound understanding. There, little by little, attention is refined and meaning is revealed.
